We help health providers render a more organized and efficient private practice for the improvement of patient satisfaction at a reduced cost. Our virtual administrative assistants work for providers across the United States, assisting them with tasks such as answering telephone calls, scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and other basic administrative duties.

I am looking for a Virtual Medical/Healthcare Assistant to provide administrative support to my clients while working remotely.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle health-related administrative tasks and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
Respond to patient & provider emails
Manage incoming and outgoing calls for all assigned offices
Check voicemail messages & send text messages to patients
Schedule new and existing patient appointments for multiple offices
Order labs
Order supplements
Call in prescriptions
Insurance/benefits verification
Properly screen potential new patients
Credentialing
Prior authorizations
Follow scheduling protocols and guidelines
Process patient payments
Sending new patient intake forms
Appointment preparation (ensuring labs, imaging, and/or new patient forms are completed)
Requesting medical records
Assist with practice-related tasks as needed.
Requirements and Skills

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Higher Education
2 years of administrative experience in the healthcare field
Comfortable using a variety of online insurance verification portals & EHRs
Familiar with Medical terminology
Proficient use of office equipment and software (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets)
Strong internet connection
